About Colby

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of engineering, design, and advanced manufacturing—building solutions for both military and high-performance racing environments. Today, my focus is fully on the future: pioneering new additive manufacturing techniques for titanium and nickel-alloy components. As Co-Founder and CTO of CADMORE Metal, I’m leading the development of Cold Metal Fusion for Ti64 and nickel-based super-alloys, transforming a promising additive process into a reliable, production-ready technology.

Photography, has been my constant passion for more than 20 years. It’s accompanied me through countless work trips and travel adventures, from city streets around the globe to familiar corners of my home in Charlotte. What inspires me most is exploring people and culture through my lens—capturing everyday scenes, unexpected moments, and portraits of compelling individuals. It’s in those glimpses of real life that I find my greatest creative energy.
